Our client was established in 1992 and manufactures wiring harnesses, cable assemblies & avionic test benches mainly for the aerospace sector. Their clients include BAe Systems, Goodrich and Ultra Datel and they have built their reputation on quality products and service. Their plans for 2009 include expanding their market share and so they now require a Business Developer with board potential.



THE ROLE

Working with the Managing Director, you will visit existing and potential customers, not necessarily in the aerospace industry, and promote the companies product range; winning additional orders and thus increasing the order books. You will then work with the production team to ensure the orders are processed and distributed in line with capacity. You will also participate in weekly management meetings and produce sales reports for the management team.



THE PERSON

You will be educated to HND/HNC level, or by experience, and have a strong electrical background with the ability to understand complex wiring diagrams. You will be commercially aware; able to open doors to gain business and to develop and build strong long term relationships. You will be an excellent communicator with strong negotiating skills, commercially aware with the focus and drive to achieve. You will be IT literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office products including Powerpoint.
